Our Mission
The Teleios Project is a holistic, culturally sensitive
community based organization that provides client centered
health related, and other supportive services, to women and
families of color in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area.
Our Vision & Purpose
"TELEIOS" is a greek word meaning "made whole or complete;
reaching mature fulfillment". Keeping in line with it's name,
Teleios hopes that through the services we provide, families of
color will be provided the education, skills, support and other
resources necessary for them to pursue and obtain their
physical, emotional, economic and/or spiritual goals.
Teleios is committed to developing and implementing programs
for individuals, families, and communities of color that are
geared towards:
-
Addressing the individual needs of
those we serve.
-
Motivating individuals/ communities to
take charge of their lives/communities through education and
specific skills development.
-
Assisting in community mobilization
efforts.
-
Recognizing, respecting and enhancing
the strengths in each individual/family that we serve.
-
Empowering individuals and communities
of color to work hard at gaining knowledge, maintaining
